What does a concrete pump truck do?
A concrete pump truck takes fresh concrete from our volumetric mixer and pushes it through a pipeline directly to your pour — up to 100 metres away, around the side of the house, over walls, down into basements or up to first-floor slabs.
Instead of dozens of back-breaking wheelbarrow runs (or a mixer truck churning up your garden), the concrete flows in a continuous, controlled stream at up to 100 cubic metres per hour — placed exactly where your shutters, footings or slab need it.
It's the difference between an all-day slog and a pour that's done in a fraction of the time, with a better finish — because the concrete is placed and compacted before it starts to set.

How much does concrete pump hire cost?+
Our concrete pump truck service is a flat £395 ex-VAT, added to your concrete delivery. No half-day or full-day rates, no hidden charges — one simple price for the pour.
How far can the pump reach?+
Up to 100 metres. That covers rear gardens, basements, land at the back of terraces, upper floors and almost any spot a mixer truck cannot physically get to.
How fast can it pump?+
Up to 100m³ per hour. In practice the pour rate is matched to your site and your team, but the pump will never be the bottleneck — even on large slabs and footings.
Do I need a pump for my job?+
If the truck can park within a few metres of the pour and discharge down the chute, you usually don’t. If access is tight, the pour is at the rear of the property, below ground or above ground floor, a pump saves hours of barrowing and gives a faster, cleaner pour.
Is the pump available same day?+

What about a barrow service instead?+
